Rule of Two
The goal of the Rule of Two is to ensure all interactions and communications are open, observable and justifiable. Its purpose is to protect participants (especially minors) and coaches in potentially vulnerable situations by ensuring more than one adult is present. There may be exceptions for emergency situations.
Canoe Kayak Canada Safe Sport Policy Updates
August 2021
Canoe Kayak Canada (CKC) has made updates to its Safe Sport Policies as part of the organization’s commitment to ensure the sport is a safe and healthy environment for all participants. These updates come into immediate effect.

Member Adoption of Policies:
OMCKRA is a member of the Marathon Canoe Racing Council (MCRC) of Canoe Kayak Canada (CKC) and as such adopts the CKC Safe Sport Policies. In the interest of having a harmonized safe sport system, CKC has designed its policies so that every member organization can adopt the CKC Safe Sport Policies.
